Amie Klempnauer Miller, DEI Foundation Support Coordinator, has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on grants.  She has written successful proposals raising more than $20 million from funders including the Ford Foundation, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the National Science Foundation, the Ploughshares Fund and many others.  She has worked with several public radio and television stations, as well as with public media organizations including Public Radio International, Youth Radio and the National Federation of Community Broadcasters.

As a DEI Advisor, Amie works with both stations and independent producers.  She is available to consult with you on creating and implementing a foundation development plan, identifying and researching potential funders, writing and editing proposals, and developing foundation cultivation and solicitation strategies.  Through our partnership in the APTS Grants Center, Amie is also available to conduct custom prospect research on local and regional foundations for public radio and public television stations.  Contact Amie for more information.
