Craig Oliver: Bio

Craig Oliver is DEI's Director of Research, managing the Benchmarks for Public Radio Fundraising project. He advises DEI members about their Benchmarks data via teleconference, webinar and in person at the Public Media Development and Marketing Conference.  Craig is also the audience research consultant to Public Radio International. He is the person who figures out how many people listen to national programs.  Craig also analyzes research data and advises managers and program directors at several public radio stations.

Craig is a former President of the Radio Research Consortium, and now serves on RRC's board of directors.  Craig was co-founder and the first president of the Public Radio Program Directors Association (PRPD).  Craig worked for WAMU, Washington for 13 years where he served as production and operations manager, reporter, news director and program director.

Craig is a part-time veterinary technician, and lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife, Leslie, and three dogs.
