Deborah Turner is DEI's Coordinator for Major and Planned Giving, providing stations with information how to start, enhance, or expand their programs in these areas.  She is also Executive Director of the CPB-funded Leadership for Philanthropy Project, which is managed through DEI.

Deb has 28 years of experience in non-profit development, including 22 years as a public media development professional.  The bulk of her career was spent at Maine Public Broadcasting Network (MPBN), where she held several positions, including Vice President for Development for both radio and TV.  After leaving MPBN, Deb became Assistant Director of the highly successful Public Television Major Giving Initiative.  In addition to working with DEI stations, Deb is available as an independent consultant to public media organizations and other non-profits.
