Fred is DEI’s station-based advisor specializing in membership. He is currently Director of Development at WDUQ/Pittsburgh.  His fundraising background spans more than twenty years, the majority of which has been in public broadcasting in both development and membership.

Fred is a long-standing member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) having served two terms as treasurer of the western Pennsylvania chapter, as well as two terms on the finance committee of AFP International.  He earned his CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) designation in 1997 and is available for consultation on a variety of membership issues including, but not limited to, direct mail and telemarketing.
